Blow Mold Operator 3

A blow molding operator is responsible for creating and finishing of blow molding parts. This position will be responsible for good quality parts as a finished product. They will work closely with the shift supervisor and Blow Mold Manager.

Duties:

• Deflash, flame and set aside each part for cooling
• Prepare each part for packing either in boxes or on pallets
• Grind all lay flat and any defective parts per instructions
• Keep a total number of shippable and defective parts
• Place identifiable label on finished product
• Bring any quality defects to the attention of the shift Supervisor or blow molding manager.
• Set aside any part not meeting specifications for review with Supervisor and Blow Mold Manager
• Assist and/or prepare production sheets for your machine
• Assist and/or move finished product to proper area
• Immediately notify Shift Supervisor or Blow Mold Manager of any material mix inconsistencies
• Keep areas clean and tidy
• Communicate with Shift Supervisor and/or Blow Mold Manager regarding any job concerns or employment concerns
• Assist, when necessary, the loading and unloading of trucks coming into the facility
• Overtime is required based on company needs to fulfill future orders
• Comply with work rules, employee handbook, hazardous communication plan, safety and any additional plans or documents
• Maintain technical knowledge
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing special tasks, as needed
• Perform various other functions when necessary
• Accept special assignments
• Any and all additional tasks assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the company
