Job Summary:

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for taking orders, processing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.  The position requires strong communication skills and knowledge of all Timewell products and customers.  The job environment has set office hours and is nearly 100% indoors.

The Customer Service Specialist must have a strong sense of ownership to quality and excellence and must be able to effectively communicate with employees and customers at all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a positive working environment
  • Communicate via phone, and in person, with customers and outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction is attained
  • Input customer orders into Great Plains
  • Communicate with Shipping and Transportation to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
  • Receive incoming calls
  • Engage communication and fulfill walk in customer needs
  • Work with sales reps to ensure proper pricing is communicated to customers
  • Communicate with Vice Presidents of sales divisions to ensure the best interest of the customer and Timewell Drainage Products

Occasional Duties:

  • Assist with physical inventory
  • Participate in meetings/discussion with Management on inventory-related topics

Works independently or with minimal supervision 95% of the time.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/College Degree Preferred
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Positive attitude towards customers, external and internal
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
