Location: Timewell, Illinois

Timewell Drainage Products is searching for a Controller / Vice President, Finance to direct and manage company-wide fiscal and information technology functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and current IT trends and regulations, respectively. Specifically responsible for General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Credit, Collections, Budget and the Information Technology System.

  1. Ensures timely and accurate budget analysis and financial review for management team.
  2. Recommends and develops policies, procedures and systems to meet company objectives.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Accounting; Manager, Billing and Collections; and the consultant managing the company IT system (hardware and software).

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as duties demand.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
This position requires up to 10% travel.

Required Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years professional experience with at least five years in finance and accounting management (i.e., controller, assistant controller, finance/accounting manager).

Preferred Education and Experience

Timewell Drainage Products is searching for a Maintenance Technician to sustain a preventive maintenance program that optimizes the longevity of the manufacturers warranty on all process equipment.  The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs plant facilities including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and plumbing repairs with a high standard of excellence.  The Maintenance Technician must be safety and quality minded.

Responsibilities:

  • Strict adherence to safe work practices
  • Maintain a neat, clean work area
  • Prompt, timely, effective communication to management regarding problems with process equipment, buildings and grounds
  • Maintain and repair all vacuum corrugation extrusion equipment
  • Maintain and repair all electrical motors, gas and diesel engines and tools required to maintain buildings and grounds
  • React quickly and properly to resolve problems or equipment failures
  • Prepare and complete work orders and other pertinent paperwork

Occasional Duties:

  • Locate parts and equipment needed for repairs or maintenance

Timewell Drainage Products is searching for a Down Stream Technician (DST) responsible for handling and coiling single wall pipe as it comes off the extrusion line and for moving finished coils to an outside holding area. The DST must be safety and quality minded. The DST must maintain a high standard of excellence with all finished coils neatly wrapped and tightly tied. The DST must use care when moving finished coils to avoid injury to themselves and others and to avoid damaging finished tile and plant equipment. This job requires working in a standing position for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Strict adherence to safe work practices
  • Maintain a neat, clean work area
  • Prompt, timely, effective communication to Operator and Supervisor
  • Preparing maxi spools with cores and strings
  • Monitoring the maxi-coiling process to assure that finished coils are wrapped firmly, neatly, and consistently throughout the entire coil
  • Installing appropriate covering on “socked” tile.
  • Moving finished tile to outside holding area
  • Prepare and complete applicable tracking records

Occasional Duties Include:

  • Assist with yard operations
  • Assist with training new employees

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Forklift certification
  • Conscientious attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors

Timewell Drainage Products is seeking a delivery driver to deliver and pick up tile products, installation equipment and manufacturing raw materials. During the busy season this job may require weekend work and nights away from home. Delivery driver must be able to take instruction from dispatch and keep accurate record of trips and expenses.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Safe operation of all equipment
  • Using all personal protective equipment required by the company
  • Ability to load and unload product or equipment safely and efficiently
  • Having proper documentation needed before proceeding to destination
  • Traveling only legal routes specified by dispatch

  • Keeping documentation needed by DOT while on the road

Timewell Drainage Products is seeking full and part-time drivers to deliver and pick up tile products and raw materials. During peak periods, the positions may require weekend work and nights away from home. Drivers must keep accurate trip and expense records, have a professional experience and act as an ambassador for the company and operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Requirements include a CDL Class A, successful completion of an accredited driving school, driving experience and the ability to lift 75 pounds.
